Designed For Simple Vinyl Playback
The VPI Player is designed for listeners who want to enjoy records without assembling a complex analog system. Its integrated phono stage and headphone amplifier reduce the number of additional components required, while the pre-mounted cartridge and included tonearm make the system straightforward to put into service.
This makes the Player suitable for dedicated listening rooms, living rooms, desktop systems and vinyl-focused setups where simplicity and performance are both important.
Precision Tonearm & Record Playback
The Player incorporates a 9-inch gimbal/yoke-bearing tonearm with an effective length of 240.7 mm, 223 mm pivot-to-spindle distance and 17.7 mm overhang. The tonearm also incorporates an adjustable counterweight and VTA-adjustable arm mount.
The tonearm is paired with the supplied VPI Shirley cartridge, creating a factory-configured playback system designed to get the listener playing records with minimal setup.
Solid Vinyl Wrapped Mdf Chassis
The Player uses a vinyl-wrapped MDF chassis with a 16 × 11-inch footprint. Its overall dimensions are approximately 19 × 14 × 6 inches, providing a relatively compact footprint for a full-size audiophile turntable.
The 11.5-inch, 7 lb aluminium platter provides a substantial rotating platform, while the belt-driven design is intended to provide stable record playback.
Built-In Phono Stage & Headphone Amplifier
One of the Player's defining characteristics is its integrated electronics.
The built-in phono stage allows the turntable to be integrated into a conventional audio system without requiring a separate phono preamplifier. The built-in headphone amplifier provides a direct option for private vinyl listening.
Together, these features make the Player particularly suitable for listeners looking for a complete analog system with fewer external components.
