The TAGA Harmony TCW-890 is a high-performance 2-way in-wall architectural speaker designed to deliver powerful, detailed and natural sound while maintaining a discreet appearance within the room.
Featuring a large 203 mm (8-inch) Kevlar® bass-midrange driver and a 25 mm (1-inch) TAGA Pure Titanium Tweeter Dome (TPTTD), the TCW-890 provides deep, controlled bass, articulate midrange and smooth, detailed high frequencies.
With 120W RMS / 160W MAX power handling, a 35 Hz–25 kHz frequency response and 90 dB sensitivity, it is well suited to demanding home theatre, stereo music and commercial audio installations.
Powerful & Detailed Acoustic Performance
The TCW-890 uses a large 8-inch Kevlar® bass-midrange driver designed to deliver strong low-frequency extension while maintaining precise and controlled midrange reproduction.
The 1-inch TPTTD tweeter uses TAGA Harmony's Pure Titanium Tweeter Dome technology with ferrofluid cooling. Its swivel-mounted design allows the high-frequency output to be directed toward the listening area for improved tonal balance and imaging.
Adjustable Sound for Room Integration
The TCW-890 includes separate ±3 dB treble and ±3 dB woofer switches, allowing the speaker's tonal balance to be adjusted to suit the room, installation position and listening preference.
This makes it easier to compensate for acoustic characteristics and speaker placement without requiring external equalization.
Discreet Architectural Design
The TSLB (TAGA Super Low-profile Bezel) magnetic grille is designed to keep the speaker visually unobtrusive once installed.
The grille is paintable, allowing it to be matched with the surrounding wall décor. Its magnetic mounting also provides a clean, streamlined appearance without conventional visible grille fasteners.
Rigid Low-Resonance Construction
The speaker uses TAGA Harmony's TIMPC (TAGA Injection-Molded Polymer Chassis), a rigid and strong chassis designed to minimize unwanted distortion, vibrations and resonances.
The front-panel construction also contributes to chassis rigidity and helps manage reflected sound for more consistent acoustic performance.
Easy & Secure Installation
The TEI (TAGA Easy Install) mounting system is designed to simplify and secure the installation process.
The TEC (TAGA Easy Connection) terminals accept raw speaker cable up to 10 AWG along with popular banana and pin connectors, making system wiring straightforward for professional installers.
