The Puritan Audio PS106-DC is an advanced audiophile mains purification and power management system designed to provide cleaner, more stable and better-controlled AC power to high-performance audio and AV equipment.
Building on the PS106 platform, the PS106-DC adds DC offset correction to its mains purification architecture. This additional circuitry rebalances the AC sine wave by removing DC components from the supply, helping connected transformers operate more quietly and efficiently.

Advanced Mains Purification
The PS106-DC uses multiple cumulative stages of mains purification to address unwanted electrical interference, including common-mode and differential-mode noise.
Each of the six output sockets is independently filtered, helping prevent electrical noise generated by one connected component from contaminating the power supplied to other components in the system.
This makes the PS106-DC particularly suitable for systems incorporating multiple sensitive components such as DACs, preamplifiers, power amplifiers, streamers, disc players, turntables and AV electronics.
DC Offset Correction
The defining feature of the PS106-DC is its integrated DC offset correction circuitry.
DC components present on an AC mains supply can affect the operation of conventional transformers. Puritan Audio's DC version is designed to rebalance the AC sine wave by removing these DC components, helping transformers operate more quietly and efficiently while retaining their available power delivery and dynamics.
For high-performance systems where transformer hum, mechanical vibration or mains-related interference is a concern, the DC correction stage provides an additional level of mains conditioning beyond the standard PS106.
Star Earthing & Cleansed Earth
The PS106-DC incorporates a star earthing architecture intended to avoid unwanted hum loops and reduce the system noise floor.
Its cleansed earth arrangement further addresses noise carried on the earth line, supporting greater system clarity and definition.
