The Puritan Audio PB104 is a dedicated mains distribution and purification system designed to reduce electrical interference reaching connected audio equipment while providing a robust, mechanically and electrically controlled power-distribution platform.
The PB104 uses 20 independent purification elements arranged in multiple cumulative stages to address both common-mode and differential-mode interference. Four 15A outlets each incorporate their own re-filtering stage, helping reduce cross-contamination between connected components.

Multi-Stage Mains Purification

Equal Power Routing

Star Earthing & Cleansed Earth
Puritan's star-earthing arrangement provides a central filtered earth reference for the outlets. The additional earth connection on the side of the unit is directly connected to the filtered star-earth point and can also be used with compatible non-mains-connected accessories or a Puritan Ground Master.
Surge Protection
The PB104 incorporates a 9,000-amp repetitive-rated, three-dimensional non-sacrificial surge protection system. Unlike sacrificial surge components that require replacement after an event, the PB104 uses a resettable over-current protection arrangement at its mains input.
