The Return Of Pure Tube Artistry

The McIntosh MA2375 is a statement 2-channel vacuum tube integrated amplifier created for listeners who want the musical character of valve amplification without compromising on modern system flexibility. Combining a vacuum tube preamplifier and vacuum tube power amplifier in a single chassis, the MA2375 delivers 75 watts per channel through McIntosh's renowned Unity Coupled Circuit output transformers.

With its illuminated vacuum tubes, signature blue watt meters and polished stainless-steel chassis, the MA2375 brings together McIntosh's unmistakable visual identity and a thoroughly modern approach to high-end stereo listening.

Key Features

  • 75 Watts per Channel – Delivers 75W into 4, 8 or 16-ohm loudspeaker loads.

  • All-Vacuum-Tube Design – Combines tube preamplification and tube power amplification in one integrated chassis.

  • Unity Coupled Circuit Output Transformers – McIntosh's transformer design provides consistent power delivery across multiple speaker impedances.

  • Four KT88 Output Tubes – Forms the heart of the MA2375's power amplification stage.

  • Configurable MM/MC Phono Stage – Supports both Moving Magnet and Moving Coil cartridges with adjustable loading and capacitance.

  • 5-Band Analog Equalizer – Provides flexible tonal adjustment while retaining a pure analog signal path.

  • High Drive Headphone Amplifier with HXD® – Designed for demanding headphone listening with McIntosh's Headphone Crossfeed Director.

  • Home Theater PassThru – Allows the MA2375 to integrate into a larger home theatre system.

  • Solid Cinchâ„¢ Speaker Binding Posts – Provide secure, reliable loudspeaker connections.

  • Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor® & Sentry Monitorâ„¢ – McIntosh protection technologies designed to safeguard the output stage.

Pure Vacuum Tube Architecture

At the heart of the MA2375 is a fully analog vacuum tube architecture. The power amplifier section uses four KT88 output tubes and four 12AT7 driver tubes, while the preamplifier section uses two 12AX7A and two 12AT7 tubes.

Rather than combining a tube preamplifier with a solid-state power stage, McIntosh has created a complete tube amplification system within the MA2375. The result is an amplifier designed around the distinctive musical qualities and engineering philosophy of valve amplification.

75 WATTS OF Mcintosh POWER

The MA2375 provides 75 watts per channel into 4, 8 or 16 ohm loads, making it suitable for a broad range of high-end loudspeakers.

Its Unity Coupled Circuit output transformers are central to the design, helping maintain consistent performance across different speaker impedances. The amplifier is rated at 0.5% maximum THD from 20Hz to 20kHz at rated power, with a damping factor greater than 22.

Analog Connection Flexibility

The MA2375 is designed for modern high-end stereo systems while remaining fundamentally analog.

It provides two balanced inputs, three unbalanced inputs and one configurable phono input. The phono stage can accommodate both Moving Coil and Moving Magnet cartridges, with adjustable gain, capacitance and resistance loading.

A dedicated subwoofer output allows integration with an active subwoofer, while the unbalanced variable output provides additional system flexibility.

Built For Vinyl

For vinyl enthusiasts, the integrated phono stage provides considerably more flexibility than a basic line-level input.

The MA2375 supports both MM and MC cartridges, with selectable loading and capacitance options designed to help optimise cartridge matching. This makes it possible to build a high-end analogue front end without requiring a separate phono stage.

Precision Protection

McIntosh has incorporated Power Guard Screen Grid Sensor® technology to continuously monitor the current through the output tubes and adjust the input signal when necessary.

The MA2375 also employs Sentry Monitorâ„¢ protection against short-circuit conditions, providing an additional layer of protection for the amplifier and connected loudspeakers.

CLASSIC Mcintosh DESIGN

The MA2375 combines contemporary engineering with the visual language that has made McIntosh instantly recognisable.

The dual blue watt meters, illuminated vacuum tubes and polished stainless-steel chassis make the amplifier as visually distinctive as it is technically sophisticated. The design is not simply decorative—the physical presentation reinforces the MA2375's role as the centrepiece of a serious stereo system.

Modern System Integration

Although the MA2375 is an all-analog amplifier, McIntosh has equipped it for integration into sophisticated contemporary systems.

Home Theater PassThru, RS232 control, Power Control and rear-panel Data Ports allow it to work alongside other components and professional control systems.
