Designed For Premium Home Theatre
The Magnat Signature IWT 162 is designed for installations where high-quality sound and interior aesthetics are equally important.
Its compact in-wall configuration allows it to integrate into the architecture without occupying floor or shelf space.
The speaker is suitable for front left and right channel applications, centre-channel placement and surround-channel configurations, making it a versatile choice for custom home theatre installations.
Its tonal characteristics are also coordinated with other speakers in the Magnat Signature architectural range, allowing system designers to create a consistent multi-channel sound experience.
Advanced Driver Technology
At the heart of the IWT 162 is a 6.5-inch woofer-midrange driver featuring a three-layer aluminium/ceramic sandwich cone.
This advanced construction combines rigidity and controlled movement to deliver accurate midrange reproduction and impressive bass performance.
The driver incorporates a powerful magnet system and durable long-throw rubber surround, supporting linear operation even during demanding playback.
Complementing the woofer is a premium 1-inch fabric dome tweeter with a protective diffuser. Its design supports smooth high-frequency reproduction, excellent dynamics and natural tonal integration.
Precise Sound Customisation
The IWT 162 features a sophisticated phase-optimised crossover network with three adjustable tweeter-level settings.
This allows installers to tailor high-frequency output to suit different room environments, speaker positions and listening preferences.
The Klippel-optimised driver technology further contributes to high efficiency and strong output capability, making the IWT 162 suitable for demanding home theatre applications.
Simple & Flexible Installation
Designed with professional installers in mind, the IWT 162 incorporates a robust six-point clamping mechanism for secure installation in wall surfaces up to 30 mm thick.
Its relatively shallow 102 mm mounting depth makes it suitable for a variety of architectural environments.
The removable magnetic metal grille provides a clean finished appearance, while gold-plated push terminals accommodate speaker cables up to 6 mm².
The speaker can be installed in drywall without an additional enclosure or in a suitable closed volume of at least 20 litres, as specified in the manufacturer's documentation.
