Designed For Serious Vinyl Playback

The Lehmann Audio Decade is engineered for listeners who demand a high level of musical refinement from their analogue systems. It is designed to work with a wide range of MM and MC cartridges while providing the flexibility required for precise system matching.

Its carefully developed circuit architecture is designed to preserve the character of the cartridge and recording, delivering a presentation with spacious imaging, precise contours, dynamic expression and a natural, open treble response.

Ultra-Precise Passive Riaa Equalisation

The Decade uses an ultra-precise passive RIAA equalisation network designed to provide accurate frequency correction while maintaining excellent transient response and channel balance.

This architecture helps the phono stage reproduce the delicate information stored in the record groove with a clean, natural and highly controlled presentation.

Powerful Class A Output Stage

A powerful Class A output stage contributes to the Decade's open and natural sound character. Designed to provide a clean and stable signal path, the output stage helps the phono preamplifier deliver strong dynamics and precise musical contours.

The result is a phono stage capable of revealing the differences between cartridges while maintaining a coherent and engaging presentation across a wide range of music.

Flexible Cartridge Matching

The Decade supports both moving-magnet and moving-coil cartridges through a broad range of gain and loading options.

Four selectable gain settings provide flexibility for different cartridge output levels, while input impedance options of 47 kΩ, 1 kΩ and 100 Ω allow compatibility with a wide range of cartridge designs.

The dedicated custom impedance slot provides an additional option for advanced cartridge matching, while adjustable input capacitance from 47 pF to 1,370 pF offers further flexibility for MM cartridge applications.

Front-Panel Control & Soft Bass Filter

The Decade provides convenient front-panel operation for gain selection and the soft bass roll-off filter.

The bass filter operates at 50 Hz with a 6 dB/octave slope, helping to manage unwanted very-low-frequency energy while maintaining the musical character of the audible bass range.

Dedicated Pwx Ii Power Supply

The Decade uses a dedicated external PWX II power supply designed to provide a powerful and stable supply for the phono stage.

Separating the power supply from the audio section helps the Decade maintain a clean operating environment for the sensitive phono circuitry. The two-box configuration also contributes to the product's high-end system architecture and premium construction.

Premium, Low-Resonance Construction

The Decade uses a non-magnetic aluminium housing with a mechanically damped top cover designed to minimise microphony and unwanted resonances.

Its audio section and PWX II power supply use matching compact chassis dimensions, allowing the two components to integrate cleanly into a high-end stereo system.
