The Edifier STAX SPIRIT S3 is a premium wireless over-ear headphone designed around a large 89 × 70 mm planar magnetic driver and Edifier's EqualMass™ diaphragm technology. The system combines planar magnetic architecture with Audeze-derived Fluxor™, Uniforce™ and Fazor™ technologies to target high-resolution reproduction with low distortion and detailed imaging.
The S3 supports Bluetooth 5.2, Qualcomm aptX Adaptive, aptX HD, aptX and SBC codecs, together with wired operation through its analogue input. It provides up to 80 hours of playback and supports multipoint Bluetooth connectivity for two devices.

Planar Magnetic Precision
The S3 uses a large planar magnetic driver rather than a conventional dynamic driver. Its EqualMass™ diaphragm combines Fluxor™ magnetic structure, Uniforce™ diaphragm technology and Fazor™ phase management to support consistent driver movement and accurate sound reproduction.
High-Resolution Audio
The STAX SPIRIT S3 is designed for high-resolution listening, with a specified frequency response of 20Hz–40kHz. It supports Qualcomm's Snapdragon Sound platform and high-resolution Bluetooth codecs including aptX Adaptive and aptX HD.
Wireless & Wired Connectivity
Bluetooth 5.2 provides wireless connectivity, while multipoint pairing allows the S3 to remain connected to two Bluetooth devices. For traditional wired listening, the package includes an AUX cable and a 3.5mm-to-6.35mm adapter.
Long 80-Hour Battery Life
The built-in battery provides approximately 80 hours of playback. A 10-minute quick charge can provide up to 11 hours of playback, making the S3 suitable for extended listening and travel. Charging is via USB-C, with a stated charging time of approximately 1.5 hours.
Comfort For Long Listening
The S3 weighs approximately 329g and includes interchangeable earpads. The standard lambskin leather earpads are supplied alongside cooling-mesh cushions intended for longer listening sessions and warmer environments
App-Based Sound Control
The EDIFIER ConneX app provides access to EQ settings, the Classic STAX sound effect, low-latency gaming modes and additional control functions.
Clear Voice Communication
Qualcomm aptX Voice technology is included for Bluetooth calling, with Edifier specifying support for improved voice transmission and up to 32kHz voice-call quality.
