High-Resolution Audio Performance
The QD35 is designed for both wired and wireless high-resolution listening. Its Hi-Res Audio and Hi-Res Audio Wireless certifications are complemented by LDAC support for compatible Bluetooth devices.
For wired playback, the rear USB-A and AUX inputs support high-resolution audio sources. With a compatible LDAC source, the speaker can receive high-quality wireless audio at sampling rates up to 96kHz.
Dsp-Driven 2-Way Acoustic Architecture
The QD35 uses a dedicated 3-inch aluminium-alloy mid-bass driver and 1-inch silk-dome tweeter in a two-way configuration.
A full-digital DSP chipset divides the incoming signal between the two frequency bands before feeding the drivers through TI Closed-Loop digital amplification. The system provides 25W RMS to the mid-bass section and 15W RMS to the treble section, for a combined 40W RMS output.
Controlled Bass & Low-Frequency Performance
The 3-inch long-stroke aluminium mid-bass driver is designed to reproduce frequencies down to 60Hz while maintaining a compact cabinet footprint.
Edifier's MazeTube Bass Reflex Channels are engineered to improve airflow through the cabinet, while TurbMuff Air Noise Suppression Technology is designed to reduce port noise and unwanted resonance during playback.
Turbogan Fast Charging
One of the QD35's distinctive features is its integrated 35W TurboGaN charging system.
The speaker incorporates both USB-A and USB-C charging outputs, allowing it to serve as a desktop charging hub as well as an audio system. Edifier specifies smart power allocation and temperature-control technologies designed to manage charging safely and efficiently.
The maximum charging output available to a connected device depends on the device and charging configuration.
Customizable Rgb Lighting
The QD35 features an integrated RGB lighting system surrounding the speaker enclosure. Preset lighting effects can be selected, while the Edifier Connect app allows users to create customized lighting effects.
