Brown Sugar enhances any sound system, regardless of where it is used. This high-tech speaker cable consists of three bundles of different thicknesses, one of which contains a 0.85mm² BassCore conductor. This reduced the undesirable skin effect in the conductors. In addition, all conductors in it are separately insulated, and the cable is terminated with Solid Grip banana plugs, which are tightly compressed with the conductors, eliminating empty spaces between them.
Melodika BSSC38
A Polish-manufactured cable with an advanced design that boasts gold-plated, high-quality banana plugs. The technologically sophisticated design of the Brown Sugar cable integrates proven concepts like Multi-Gauge Core and Spiral Litz, enclosed in triple low-capacitance LDPE dielectric insulation. In the Brown Sugar series, Melodika opts for high-quality Polish OFC grade 6N copper with 99.9999% purity, commonly found in the most advanced audio cables, ensuring longevity and maintaining the highest quality electrical performance.

Many single cores are placed in separate isolation. In each core flows total current located on the power amplifier output. This solution is much better than standard cables like "strand, " type because electrons do not jump from strand to strand, flowing his own path without interruption. Moving of electrons from strand to strand is undesirable effect that causes the loss of the so-called subtle information. The most important benefit of this technology is the equal current distribution throughout the cross-section of the cable, thereby increasing the efficiency of power transmission. Skin-effect is virtually eliminated. Coated guides also prevent oxidation of copper.

Solid Grip Technology – Compression Instead of Screw Clamping
When connecting speakers and amplifiers with bare wire, exposed copper quickly oxidizes, increasing cable resistance and negatively affecting the fidelity of the sound we hear. That’s why high-quality cables use connectors such as banana plugs. The Melodika BSBW225xx features a new, specialized technology for securely attaching connectors to speaker cables without soldering – Solid Grip Technology. Unlike standard screw-clamp connections, Solid Grip Technology involves compressing a specially prepared connector onto the speaker cable using a press. This process tightly bonds all wire strands with the connector, eliminating gaps between them and maximizing the contact surface. The resulting monolithic structure creates a smooth, uninterrupted signal path, significantly reducing connection resistance.
A cable and connector compressed into a single unit using Solid Grip Technology provide much higher conductivity compared to screw-clamped or soldered connections. The solution used in the Melodika BSBW225xx ensures a reliable, durable connection that is resistant to oxidation and offers excellent electrical conductivity with reduced resistance. The connectors are coated with 24-karat gold, which does not oxidize in air, ensuring low resistance throughout the cable’s lifespan.
No skin effect
The higher the frequency transmitted by the line, the more current tends to flow on the surface of the guide. It happens because of variable magnetic interactions of the current with itself. And so, the higher the frequency, the closer to the surface of the conductor current is flowing. It is not a good effect, because with the increasing of the frequency, used guide surface is decreasing, which results in an increase of the cable impedance for high frequencies. The signal begins to flow unequally (also because of phase shifts) and there is a loss of very quiet components, which in the listetning sensations is called the lack of air or subtle information. therefore Melodika Brown Sugar BSC2450 has three different thickness of guides.
Twisted cores - the use of the braid spirally twisted causes that the sensitivity to wire interference is small, because the induced current in one guide has an opposite direction than in the neighboring - by which interferences cancel each other out.
