The Spectrum X5 features a 25mm / 1-inch soft fabric dome tweeter designed for wide sound dispersion and smooth high-frequency reproduction.
This configuration helps provide a broad and consistent listening experience while maintaining clarity across vocals, instruments and high-frequency details.
5-Inch Long-Throw Bass Driver
A 5-inch long-throw paper bass driver handles the midrange and low-frequency portion of the spectrum.
The driver works with the bass-reflex cabinet to provide extended bass performance while maintaining the compact dimensions of the speaker. A protective metal mesh grille adds an additional layer of protection to the driver.
Bass-Reflex Enclosure
The Spectrum X5 uses a 2-way bass-reflex enclosure, helping the speaker deliver useful low-frequency extension from its compact cabinet.
With a specified frequency response of 60Hz–20kHz in the current Tangent documentation, the X5 is well suited to stereo music and compact home entertainment systems.
